Hindenburg Disaster – 1937 – Zeppelins were so majestic in the 1930s and the arrival of these new ships was awaited by photos and news in the world. Suddenly as the assembled media watched, the grand ship’s flammable hydrogen caught fire causing it to burst into flames killing 36 people. Shere was one of the photographers to capture the publication and among the first to publicize it on papers.
